Rules

How it works

1 Teams of 1–4. Solo builders welcome.

2 3-hour build window. Clock starts 10:30 AM, code freeze 1:30 PM.

3 Build something new. Boilerplate and open-source libraries are fine. Pre-built projects are not.

4 Demos are 3 minutes per team. Show what you've got — scrappy is great.

5 Judges score on creativity (30%), technical execution (30%), relevance to challenge (20%), demo quality (20%).

Sneak a cappuccino into your demo — win a $50 Medici gift card

What counts: A cappuccino icon in your UI, a coffee ordering flow, latte art on a loading screen, a cappuccino emoji in your copy, an agent that orders one. If judges can see it on screen during your demo, it counts.

Doesn't count: Just saying "cappuccino" out loud. It has to be in the product.

Multiple teams sneak one in? Everyone gets entered into a random draw. One winner takes the card.
